AM run was 5 and then in the afternoon we did two sets of 1 mile and then 2x400s. For my first mile I was 4:39 and then my 400s were 64 and 63. Then we had two laps recovery. My second mile was 4:44 and my 400s were 63 and 59. Overall a great workout that is going to help a lot during my race on Friday!

In the morning ran down to sugarhouse and did State hill five times. Then in the afternoon we did a 7 miler with some strides in the middle. I was sore for the speed work yesterday but should be better for tomorrow!

AM run was 3 miles. I was pretty sore and felt tired. In the afternoon we ran to the cottonwood complex and then did 8 strides and some 400 repeats. In the 400s we were just opening up the stride. Overall it was good but I was really tired and sore. Took an ice bath after practice!

6.5 in the morning with some strides and in the afternoon we did 5.5 with some speed changes. My legs felt great!! Took another ice bath today and the legs are feeling even better! Really excited to race tomorrow mostly because I didn't have a race last week so I'm ready to go! Good luck to everyone at Nebo and Bob Firman

AM run was an easy 3 miles to shakeout my legs. Then I got 4 miles warm up before the race. During the race the pack seemed to start slow and Chris decided to push the pace and after a couple of hundred meters with te pack I decided to push up with him. Which changed the way I was planning to race but I felt fresh so I was okay. A little before the mile I was in first and running by myself, I tried to focus on pushing through the middle portion but I was running alone. The AF guys came up on me and I allowed them to gap me more than I should have but they were working together while I was working alone. Final stage of the race I decided to see if I could close on them with all the turns it was difficult. When I hit the track I started my kick and just as I tried to move around them one stepped right in front of me so I had to swing wide(into lane 3) so I was only able to catch one of the two and finish second. Overall happy with the race and the progress I've made in the last few weeks.

Started in Holladay and ran along Wasatch until we got to Foothill drive then ran along that until Legacy Bridge. It was a good run the pace was rather slow but still we had a lot of up and down motion with all the hills. Another strong week finished!! Already really excited to race Park City on Friday. Should be a great meet!!
