Ran up towards Emigration then out towards Parleys. Back along Foothill and added to 10.

3 miles in the morning.

Afternnon jogged up to the U of U track for speed. Once there we did 1 mile of speed changes and switched shoes. Jogged 1 lap then did 2 sets and each set consisted of a 1000 then 400, 200, 400, 200. Jogged 2 laps after each thousand and 1 lap after each 200. 30 seconds standing recovery between the 400 and the 200. Times were 2:49 and 2:52 for the 1000. Then 60,61,61,60 and 29,30,30,29. Did 1 mile of J's after and jogged back to the school.

3 in then morning. 

Afternoon ran down to Liberty and did 1 lap of firemen then ran back to the school. 

2 in the morning.

Drove out to Woods Cross for Region. Got there and it was raining pretty hard but still got 3 miles warmup up. Did some strides and drills and raced the mile. Won in 4:17 I was happy because I still ran a decent time even though I was working mainly by myself. Ran 5 miles cool down.

2 miles in the morning.

The weather was a lot better when we got there. Warmed up 4 miles and got ready for the 2 mile. Won in a 9:31 which was good because I was working by myself. Jogged another mile and started getting ready for the 800 but there was lightening so we had a 30 minute delay. Afterwards warmed up another mile or so and raced the 800. Didnt have the best start and was boxed into 4th place. But at the beginning of the 2nd lap Andrew Rummens from Woods Cross almost tripped on a Bountiful which gave me enough room to move into 2nd right behind first. With 250 to go I started my kick and we battled all the way to the end but I managed to move ahead on the last 100. Jogged some more and then raced the 4x400 we took last but I handed off in 2nd place so I was happy that after a 2 mile and an 800 I was still able to kick a fast 400. 

Ran out 4 on Shriners then turned around. Rained but wasn't that bad!
