Drove out to the oval. Did 1 mile warmup and then 1 mile speed change before changing shoes and jogging a lap. Workout was 5x1000. Coach wanted me right around 2:50. Times were 2:46, 2:46, 2:48, 2:47, and 2:44. On the 3rd one with 300 to go I started to bind up but tried to work through. Did some quick leg swings in between the next two and it helped with the binding. 2 laps recovery between each 1000. Cooled down to 10.
