Miles:This week: 0.00 Month: 0.00 Year: 0.00
Total Distance
15.00

Am: Easy 3 miles.

Pm: Ran down to Liberty Park. Got some water. Then jogged to the start line by 9th south. Did some strides and then 2x2 mile. Pace wasnt that killer, coach wanted me 5:30-5:20 but the twist was we only got 90 seconds recovery in between. That made it pretty rough. First one was 10:35 so a bit under pace. Then 10:29 so again under pace. Was really stoked because I felt that I could have worked even harder but coach told me to save my legs for the race Saturday. After the two miles jogged over to where we do speed changes and did this crazy stride workout. How it went is the first one you ran 100 meters. The next you ran 110 meters. The next 120 meters. All the way to 200 meters. And after each one you jogged back to the start for recovery. After that we jogged to the school and finished at exactly 12 miles for the day!
