Miles:This week: 0.00 Month: 0.00 Year: 0.00
Total Distance
16.50

Am: 4.5 miles around the Zoo and then 8 strides to get to 5. Felt a little tight but otherwise fine.

Pm: Drove out to the oval today. Met Connor Baller out there so that was awesome. Did 2 miles warmup outside before 1 mile speed changes and then changed shoes. Jogged a lap and did 5x1000 and then 3x400. First two thousands were just at a constant pace. 2:47 and 2:45. The next Bill had us start out faster the first 200 and then kick the last 100. The middle was all about trying to relax your body from a fast start and maintin your pace but still have enough for a kick. Went 2:46 and 2:47 on those. Last one Bill had us start out a tad slower and stay constant before really kicking the last 300m. 2:45 for that one. After each thousand we had 1 full lap and then back to the 1000 start. The 400s we had one lap of recovery in between. Hit 60, 59, and 57.

Cooled down to 11.5. I could tell that I was still a bit tired from the race becuase each thousand was pretty rough but I am still really happy with the workout.
