Race: NXR Southwest (3.107 Miles) 00:15:05, Place overall: 8
Total Distance
14.00

Warmed up about 4 miles. Got some good strides and drills. Race went out fast! First mile was 4:43. Felt ready physically but not mentally. Need to work on my mental toughness making sure I am ready to work every race. Finished 8th. I was happy but not content. Cooled down 2 miles.

Pm: Ran another 5 on the treadmill.

Now knowing who's going to win the race ask yourself this question: Where are you and where should you be in relation to the winner?

Run smarter and harder. This means if you run smarter at the beginning of the race you'll be able to run harder at the end of it.
